Avslutningskonserten i årets Grieg in Bergen vil være en solidaritets konsert med Ukraina og deres vanskelige situasjon, en sak som angår oss alle. Vi ønsker å bygge en kulturell bro mellom Norge og Ukraina og konserten vil bestå nettopp av verk fra de to land og med solister fra begge..

Final concert in this years Grieg in Bergen is a solidarity concert to Ucraine and their hopeless situation, something which concerns all of us. We want to build a cultural bridge between Norway and Ucraine and this full evening concert will consist of music from these two countries. The same goes for the participating soloists.

KYIV CAMERATA
Det nasjonale ensemblet av solistene Kyiv Camerata har en ledende rolle blant orkestre i Ukraina og som uroppfører av hundrevis av moderne ukrainske komponister.

Kyiv Camerata er et orkester hvor hvert medlem er en virtuos og solist. Dette er et team med et klart formål, - promotering av ukrainsk musikk i hele sin bredde gjennom fargerike stilarter, strømninger og komposisjonsmessig utvikling. Repertoaret blir imidlertid hele tiden fornyet og spenner fra barokk til kontemporær musikk.

Blant ukrainske komponister som har samarbeidet og skrevet for dette ensemblet, finner vi dusinvis av navn, fra klassisk til moderne musikk og unge komponister som  Valentin Sylvestrov, Yevgen Stankovych, Myroslav Skoryk, Ivan Karabyts, Oleg Kiva, Vitaly Gubarenko, Yuriy Ishchenko, Levko Kolodub, Leonid Grabovskyi, Volodymyr Zubytskyi og Lesya Dychko, Hanna Havrylets, Zoltan Almashi, Yuliya Gomelska, Carmella Tsepkolenko og flere andre.

I 1977 fikk Kyiv Camerata status som "State" og i 2020 som "National" for sitt bidrag til utvikling av ukrainsk musikk og kultur.

Kyiv Camerata har opptrådt i USA, England, Polen, Frankrike, Tyskland, Nederland, Italia, Østerrike, Armenia, Georgia, mm.

I 2023 ble den kjente fiolinisten Bogdana Pivnenko tilsatt som direktør og kunstnerisk leder for orkesteret.

The National Ensemble of Soloists "Kyiv Camerata" occupies a leading place among the orchestras of Ukraine and is the first performer of hundreds of works by modern Ukrainian composers.

"Kyiv Сamerata" is an orchestra where every musician is a virtuoso and a solo performer. This is a team with a clear mission - the promotion of Ukrainian music in all the colorful styles, currents and compositional schools. However, the repertoire of the orchestra is constantly renewed and covers a wide musical range: from the ancient music of baroque to the works of modern composers.

The ensble was founded in 1977  by Valery Matyukhin, a prominent Ukrainian conductor, pianist and laureat, when the collective at the beginning of its creative journey existed under the conditions of an enterprise, as the Chamber Music Ensemble of the Union of Composers of Ukraine.

Among the Ukrainian composers who have collaborated and wrote for the ensemble we can find dozens of names - from the classics of modern music to young composers. Valentin Sylvestrov, Yevgen Stankovych, Myroslav Skoryk, Ivan Karabyts, Oleg Kiva, Vitaly Gubarenko, Yuriy Ishchenko, Levko Kolodub, Leonid Grabovskyi, Volodymyr Zubytskyi and Lesya Dychko, Hanna Havrylets, Zoltan Almashi, Yuliya Gomelska, Carmella Tsepkolenko and many others composed music for the orchestra. other artists.
