Sander Tingstad  er utdannet klassisk fiolinist med master fra Norges Musikkhøgskole, hvor han studerte med Harald Aadland, Terje Moe Hansen og Morten Carlsen. Han har erfaring på tvers av mange ulike sjangre, og solid bakgrunn som folkemusiker med junior norgesmestertittel på fele. Sander er en ivrig kammermusiker, og har spilt med noen av Norges fremste unge utøvere som Eivind Ringstad og Ludvig Gudim. Han har deltatt på en rekke kurs og mesterklasser i inn- og utland med musikere som Almita Vamos, Vilde Frang, Benjamin Schmid, Isabelle van Keulen, Hatto Beyerle, Lorenza Borrani, Emerson String Quartet, Takacs Quartet, Gringolts Quartet og Den Danske Strykekvartett. Sander har vært med å drifte egen konsertserie med kammermusikk i Oslo, og arrangert en rekke vellykkede konserter og turnéer rundt i landet. Han har mottatt flere priser og stipender, blant annet fra Aurora Music Competition og Norsk Tonekunstnersamfund. Sander Tingstad  jobber som fiolinist i Arktisk Filharmoni i Tromsø, og er i tillegg aktiv som kammermusiker og solist på tvers av flere ulike sjangre. Våren 2022 utga han sitt debutalbum Opphav på Simax Classics, som utforsker grensene mellom folkemusikk og klassisk, og som har fått strålende kritikker, og ble valgt ut som et av årets beste album i Klassekampen.

Sander Tingstad has a master’s degree from the Norwegian Academy of music, where he studied with Harald Aadland, Terje Moe Hansen and Morten Carlsen. He is experienced in many different genres and has a solid background in folk music with a Norwegian Championship title. Sander is an eager chamber musician and has played with some of the foremost young Norwegian performers such as Eivind Ringstad and Ludvig Gudim. He has participated in a number of courses and masterclasses with musicians as Almita Vamos, Vilde Frang, Benjamin Schmid, Isabelle Val Keulen, Hatto Beyerle, Lorenza Borrani, Emersom String Quartet, Gringolts Quartet and The Danish String Quartet. Sander has received several prizes and scholarships, among other from Aurora Music Competition and Norsk Tonekunstnersamfund. Sander Tingstad (f. 1991) works as violinist in The Arctic Philharmonic in Tromsø, where he regularly appears as soloist and leader. He is also active as a chamber musician and soloist across different genres. In the spring of 2022 he released his debut album Opphav on Simax Classics, an album that explore the borders beetween folk music and classical, and that has received splendid reviews and was selected as one of the top albums of the year in the Norwegian paper Klassekampen.

Berit Norbakken er en av Skandinavias mest allsidige sopraner. Hun behersker et repertoar som strekker seg fra barokk til samtidsmusikk, inkludert folkemusikk. Hun er stadig solist i oratorier og pasjoner og arbeider jevnlig med ledende ensembler, orkester og dirigenter i kjente konsertsaler over hele verden. For sine mange innspillinger høster hun strålende kritikker fra det internasjonale musikkmiljøet. Spesielt hennes innspilling av Arriagas vokalmusikk, sammen med BBC Philharmonic under ledelse av Juanjo Mena, har blitt særlig godt mottatt.. Norbakken har opptrådt i Sydney Opera House, Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall, May Festival Cincinnatti og i et høyt antall ulike konsertprogram over hele Europa. Som stipendiat gjennom Program for kunstnerisk utviklingsarbeid har hun i sitt doktorgradsarbeid jobbet tett med den svenske komponisten Karin Rehnqvist.

Berit Norbakken is one of Scandinavia’s leading sopranos. Her versatility and flexibility of voice have allowed her to master a repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary, including folk music. She regularly appears in performances of oratorios, passions, and masses, and continues her work with leading ensembles, orchestras and conductors in major concert halls all over the world. Her many recordings have garnered high critical acclaim both in Norway and abroad. In particular her recording of Arriaga’s vocal music, together with the BBC Philharmonic under the leading of Juanjo Mena has received glowing reviews internationally. Norbakken appeared at the Sydney Opera House, the Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall, at the Cincinnati May Festival as well as in several programmes touring throughout Europe..

Frode Haltli  begynte å spille trekkspill som 7-åring. Han vant de neste årene en rekke nasjonale konkurranser. Haltli studerte ved Norges musikkhøgskole, videre ved Det Kgl Danske Musikkonservatorium hvor han ble uteksaminert fra Solistklassen i 2000. I 2001 ble han kåret til Rikskonsertenes «Årets unge solist», og han mottok andre pris i International Gaudeamus Interpreters Competition 1999 i Nederland. De påfølgende årene etablerte han seg som internasjonal solist og kammermusiker. Han har vært solist med orkestre over hele verden, og opptrådt med samme selvfølgelighet på samtidsfestivaler i Warsawa, Witten og Huddersfield som på internasjonale kammermusikk-, jazz- og folkemusikkfestivaler.  Han spiller jevnlig i trioen POING med saxofonist Rolf-Erik Nystrøm og Håkon Thelin på kontrabass. Frode Haltli har vært med på en rekke transkulturelle prosjekter, og samarbeidet med folkemusikere som Gjermund Larsen, Unni Løvlid, Emilia Amper, Vegar Vårdal og Ragnhild Furebotten. Komponister som Maja Solveig Kjelstrup Ratkje, Rolf Wallin, Atli Ingólfsson, Jo Kondo og Sam Hayden har også skrevet verker spesielt til Haltli. Han har også selv virket som komponist, blant annet for flere teateroppsetninger, bestillingverket "Grenseskogen" (Osafestivalen 2015), to bestillingsverk for sitt eget ensemble Avant Folk (Riksscenen 2017 og Vossajazz 2019) 

Fode Haltli  began playing the accordion at the age of seven. As a child he played folk music but soon moved into different forms. Playing music by composers such as Pietr Fiala, Per Nørgård, Arne Nordheim as well as classical music, he swiftly developed exceptional instrumental skills alongside a deep understanding of new music. In his early years he won numerous national contests, raising interest in and appreciation of the accordion to unprecedented heights. Haltli studied at the Norwegian State Academy of Music with prof. Jon Faukstad, and also at the Royal Danish Music Conservatory in Copenhagen with both Geir Draugsvoll and James Crabb, graduating from the Soloist Class in 2000. In 2001 the Norwegian Concert Institute named him Young Soloist Of The Year, he was also placed second in the International Gaudeamus Interpreters Competition 1999 in the Netherlands. Concerts throughout Europe as well as several other parts of the world, including the USA, Canada and Asia, raised awareness still further. Directing his career into explorations of new music, he became associated with like-minded musicians mainly in Europe where the development of adventurous forms has grown throughout recent years. Haltli has established links with several composers, notably Maja Ratkje who is one of several who have written especially for him; others include Bent Sørensen, Rolf Wallin, Atli Ingólfsson, Hans Abrahamsen, Jo Kondo and Sam Hayden. He has a broad repertoire of contemporary classical works, including several concertos for the accordion, appearing with string orchestras, sinfoniettas and symphonic orchestras world wide. His debut CD ‘Looking on Darkness’ was released on the prestiguos German record label ECM in 2002.

Sebastian Molenaar. Allsidighet har alltid vært et av nøkkelordene for å beskrive hans personlighet, fra å bo i en husbåt i sentrum av Amsterdam til å være en skateboarder eller trommeslager i punk band. I 2005 flyttet han fra Nederland til Norge, og ved en tilfeldighet kom han i kontakt med et lokalt brassband og begynte å spille klassisk perkusjon i en alder av 18 år. Allerede i løpet av et år kom Sebastian in på Norges Musikkhøgskole, og tok senere master i orkesterperkusjon og pauker ved Konservatoriet i Amsterdam.  Siden 2020 er han solo paukist i Arktisk Filharmoni. Sebastian inviteres jevnlig til å spille med orkestre som Kammerorchester Basel, Kristiansand symfoniorkester, Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, Oslofilharmonien, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra, Gstaad Festival Orchestra og Kringkastingsorkesteret (KORK).  I 2022 fikk han tilbud om å bli ambassadør for Adams Musical Instruments. Sebastian jobber nå med et av sine egne prosjekter, Bodø BEAT International Percussion Festival, som ble gjennomført for første gang i mai 2022. 

Sebastian Molenaar. Versatility has always been one of the keywords for describing his personality, from living on a houseboat in the center of Amsterdam to being a skateboarder or as drummer in punk bands. In 2005, he moved from the Netherlands to Norway, and by coincidence got in contact with a local brass band and started playing classical percussion by the age of 18. Already in one year he was accepted to study at the Norwegian Academy of Music and later finished my Master degree in orchestral percussion and timpani in 2017 at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.. Since 2020 Sebastian is the Solo Timpanist in the Arctic Philharmonic Orchestra, located in Norway. During the last years he is regularly invited to orchestras like the Kammerorchester Basel, Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra, Gstaad Festival Orchestra, Norwegian Radio Orchestra, and the Dutch and Norwegian National opera and ballet orchestras.  In 2022 I was invited to become an Adams Musical Instruments ambassador. Now he is working on one of his new projects , Bodø BEAT International Percussion Festival, which had its first edition in May 2022.
